About

Wika Translate provides professional interpretation and translation services for government agencies across Kentucky, ensuring that Limited English Proficiency (LEP) individuals have equal access to public services, programs, and critical information. We partner with local, state, and federal government entities to help them meet their language access obligations and comply with civil rights and accessibility laws. Our interpreters and translators are trained to support a wide range of government services—from public health announcements and social service appointments to legal aid, benefits processing, emergency communications, and town hall meetings. We offer on-site, over-the-phone (OPI), and video remote interpretation (VRI), as well as certified document translation for public notices, applications, legal notices, and more. We specialize in high-demand languages in Kentucky such as Arabic, Kiswahili, Kinyarwanda, and Amharic, as well as Spanish and other commonly spoken languages. Our team ensures clear, culturally sensitive, and accurate communication that enables government agencies to serve diverse populations effectively and respectfully. Wika Translate helps agencies remain compliant with language access laws and policies, including: • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 • Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act • Executive Orders 13166 and 13985 (Equity in Government Services) • CMS and HHS Language Access Guidelines Whether you’re a public health department issuing multilingual alerts, a government office processing LEP applicants, or a municipal agency hosting community forums, Wika Translate ensures your message is delivered accurately and inclusively. By choosing Wika Translate, your agency demonstrates a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility, helping build trust and transparency with the communities you serve.
